More 2720 info required

Hi there again out there.

A couple more 2720 questions:-

Does the 2720 have a separate speaker output socket?

If you buy the motorcycle kit how does the speach connect, as it apears to have bear wires?

Can you buy a lead that connects to an Autocom Pro1 (Grey Din plug)?

I have the Autocom lead for my SP3 but it is fitted with a jack plug one end and a din plug the other.

It's all very confusing.

If you buy the motorcycle kit how does the speach connect, as it apears to have bear wires? The Motorcycle monting lit contains a seaprate power lead for your bike kit and includes a connection for the same 2.5mm mono jack plug as your SP3 Can you buy a lead that connects to an Autocom Pro1 (Grey Din plug)?

So you should be able to use the same lead to your Pro1

If you travel only in the UK then the pocketgpsworld one is perhaps best - but it's not £2 a year, it's £19 a year.

If you travel in mainland Europe too, then I'd recommend the one at SCDB.info which covers pretty much all of mainland Europe and the UK. This costs Euro 9.95 / year and the only disadvantage I know of is that it doesn't list mobile sites (which I believe the pocketgpsworld one does for the UK).

I've use the SCDB database for the last 10 months or so in the UK, France, Germany, Austria and Italy and have found it pretty accurate, although they're sometimes a bit slow to remove locations that existed only temporarily (in roadworks for example).

Go blue tooth, I have a unit which fits behind the ear witha loop into the ear, it's great, 240 hours standby. Only problem is you have to be very carefull putting on the helmet so not to disloge the unit. But when on it's great.
