mosel and the rhine

were off on friday 5 of us to the mosel region for 5 days . cochem round to koblenz and wherever the roads take us . were camping for the first time so anyone know any nice places to visit while were there . cheers

Nurburgring? It's an easy day trip from where you are, do a couple of laps, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the fantastic B258 there and back.

Just come back from Mosel and black forest ,Vosges on a nine day trip, Boppard is nice go on cable car for nice little ride, view and cafe.St Goar go on ferry over to other side lots of roads there as well go up the whisper nice twisty road, go all the way, up to the main road turn left and then back to st goar. just travel all along mosel valley from cochem its all nice, have good trip

Just got back from a 6 day trip to cochem and the Mosel area. In fact Dave if I'm not mistaken it was you & your good lady we were chatting to at the hotel in Ernst?

Area-wise the roads around Ernst, cochem, koblenz and especially towards the nurburgring area are so good you won't be disappointed. We timed our trip to coincide with the cochem wine festival which is worth a look if you head across again another year. There are Loads of camping opportunities all over so don't worry about that either.

I followed daves advice on the cable car at boppard which is great. Have a good un!!
