MOT in Edinburgh

Hi

I'm looking for an MOT station somewhere reasonably near to my work which is in Leith.

Anybody used these guys : http://www.metroautocentre.co.uk/

Usually get's done at Motoraad in Bishopbriggs but it's too difficult to get to at the moment and my MOT's up this week.

They did mine, but I think you have to arrange it to fit in with their visiting MOT Inspector.

Guy at work used to take his Kawasaki for MOTs to James Allan in Windsor Street Lane - depends which part of Leith you are in.

Not a recommendation, just a suggestion**; what about Carrick Yamaha? They're in Queen Charlotte Street, not far from the foot of Leith Walk.

Chhers Guys, I work at Victoria Quay near Ocean Terminal but come from Falkirk so anywhere on route, not sadly Bonnyrigg though, just a bit inconvenient getting to work after the drop off.

Not too far from the said establishment is Dalziels of Leith who used to be the folks who did MOT's for Moto-Cal and subsequently, Saltire Suzuki. They're probably the closest to Victoria Quay.

Carrick do my MOTs, the staff are nice.................well some of them. Brian is a great mechanic, but the workshop is really rough looking.

Colin at Dalziels is OK or Saltire but further away from you. Personally I wouldn't go near Carrick if it was the last place on earth but that's another story.
