Moto Guzzi V11 Le Mans Tenni. 1064cc. 2003. Limited edition-only 170 produced worldwide. Good overall condition. Recent MOT test. Everything works. Runs well. Sounds glorious. Low mileage for a big block Moto Guzzi-under 15 000. I've owned it for around 9 years and have only done around 2000 miles as I use other bikes too. Clutch and flywheel were replaced with twin plate version shortly after I bought it. Valve clearances checked and oil and filter changed about 1000 miles ago. New original headlight recently fitted. New fuel pump and filter fitted. Starter relay fitted to avoid 'startus interuptus'. I have Tekno panniers and frames, which I'll include. Recent MOT test (August 2024).

The bike was recorded as Cat D in 2005. It has got a couple of damaged fins on the RH cylinder head-pictured. I didn't notice when I bought it, which was a bit careless, though they had been concealed. I did buy a perfect replacement RH cylinder head, which can be available via negotiation. Some paint imperfections-not damage. I do not have the brown suede seat which came with the bike as a spare when new.
Located in Guisborough, N Yorks. Send a message if you want to arrange viewing. Payment on collection. Prefer bank transfer. £2750.

That is stunning
I have recently spent a bit of time on a V11 has all the charm and character of an older Tonti bigblock but with modern performance
Truly excellent road machines

In this colour the price is a steal

Beeeeeaaaaautifuuuuuullll. That price seems like the bargain of the month, yes better than Wrinklie’s Griso.

Lovely bike and a great price. If I didn't already own the bike EKIMYRF is on about I'd be very very interested.

It looks about as good as you can get for that modern/classic Guzzi look... 👍

The Tenni is the most desirable V11 variant in my mind . I always was under the impression that the brown suede seat was standard on these but in any case easily remedied. The cat D hurts it only slightly, can you elaborate on the extent of the damage please? I really like this bike and would like someone to buy and remove my temptations so best of luck with the sale

Video of that bike coming in the next couple of days

That Tenni is lovely
As an aside Tenni is the name of a famous works Guzzi racer from the 1930s Omobono Tenni (Diavolo Nero the black devil)

Cat D is cosmetic damage only. I’d guess as the seller didn’t notice the damage to the engine fina when he bought it that A, he didn’t own it when it was damaged so probably doesn’t know which parts were damaged/repaired/replaced and B, didn’t do an HPI type of check before he handed over his hard earned.
It probably doesn’t make a huge difference to its value now due to the age of the bike.

That’s my two cents worth anyway.

GLWS. It seems a lot of rare bike for the money.

Hi. The bike originally came with both the brown suede seat and the black vinyl seat. The damage is to the fins on the r/h cylinder head, which I've pictured. They could be alloy welded or, as I say, I have got a replacement cylinder head that I bought to replace the damaged one. I paid quite a lot for this, but it is available by negotiation. I knew it was Cat D when I bought it, but someone had 'crafted' bits to cover up the fin damage. The carbon fibre sleeve on the r/h silencer has had a small repair to the front part, but it is small and neat. Other than that, there's no visible damage. I suspect it was dropped on its rhs in 2005.
I replaced the single plate clutch and flywheel for the twin plate version, which is a very good thing, as the original alloy flywheel has a tendency to break apart or 'grenade'.
It's a lovely bike, and if I had the space I'd be keeping it. I just don't ride it now and prefer 'upright' trail bikes.

It was only the Tenni and the Scura editions that were afflicted with the single plate exploding lightweight clutch. So a very good and not trivial mod on this one, the standard twin plate clutch is fine.
I remember gawping at the Tenni at the NEC show back in the day and thinking how lovely it was.

Here is the test of Daves V11 Sport Coppa Italia
This Tenni will be a similar riding experience

If I was in the postion I would have that Tenni in a heartbeat
