This may well be like throwing a rabbit into a pack of dogs, but I am thinking of replacing my late 1200GS with a MotoGuzzi Breva. Has anybody any useful, and constructive comments to make
I thoroughly enjoyed my GS and would still have it but for a bimbo in a 3 door hatch. But simply to replace with another identical bike seems a bit boring. So I tried a Guzzi (I dont do off road at all) and was very pleasantly surprised..
The engine is less powerful than the GS but if anything its smoother and with a real character to it. The gearbox is light and easy. Riding position comfortable. But even more plastic than a GS and Italian electrics to boot.
So what do you reckon? Anybody got any real experience of modern Guzzi?
And yes, I've looked at the Guzzi forum but asking about Guzzi amongst the enthusiasts is like asking about GSs here.
