I went out this afternoon with the black visor on my Tour X. Later, as it got dark, I flipped it up and put on my Scott Moto X goggles. Riding home, I started wondering about just how impact resistant the lenses are. They're marked CE PC cat O. I'm not even sure that they're legal for use on the road. Anyone know?

Don't know the real specs etc but MotoX goggles can take some! I was wacked in the face by a another MotoX bike throwing up a rock at amazing speed, so much so that my neck hurt from it the next day and apart from a little mark on the lense there was nothing wrong with Scotties.

In theory, motorcycle goggles should be to BS EN 1938:1998 or have the CE mark under the Council Directive 89/686/EEC as amended by
93/68/EEC and 96/58/EEC.

I don't think that they are legal, but have never know anyone to get knicked for wearing them !
Protection is fine, just don't have the correct BS markings etc.
