French motorcycle clothing company, Xtream, have released a wearable GPS for motorcycles. Attach it to your arm, and you can take it with you everywhere you want....

Xtream GPS

Somehow this does not strike me as a "great" product. I can't imagine riding around with a GPS on my left arm....

Is this the new Bike GPS you promised us a few weeks back? :)

Doesn't strike me as a great leap forward :nenau

On the one hand you get a GPS that comes with you when you step off the bike, on the other hand you get a GPS attached to your other hand :D

Seriously though wouldn't you have to take both hands off the handlebars to adjust it

Dito... seems like some marketeers were brainstorming how to sell more motorcycle jackets, and one said, "let's go high tech".... put a GPS on it. "Any of you ride motorcycles ??".... "No.. oh well, just strap one on your arm, that should do the trick".

BTW, no mention on their site whether the unit is watertight !!

Mike,

Looks as if they have just added a body mount strap and not incorporated in the clothing itself.

This can already be done with a RAM Body mount, and attaches onto either arm or leg and you can bolt on a RAM cradle and worn over existing clothing.

Actually, they dp have a jacket which holds the GPS, and the straps are for other jackets. I jsut can't see me riding with it, lifting my arm to read the instructions...
