hey guys remember me?

a friend of mine opened a motorcycle museum in NY. it is one hour north of NY City. It is called Motorcyclepedia and is owned and run by Ted Doering of VTwin. The museum is heavy on American antiques like Harley, Indian, Pope, Merkel, Thor, Ace, Yale, Pierce, etc etc. It is also heavy on board track, bicycle pacers, hill climb, vintage chopper, with several significant pieces by Big Daddy Roth, a tribute to Indian Larry, and also 2 working Walls of Death. 3 actually but only 2 are indoors. :D

The collection of Indians is one full room and is being billed as the largest collection of Indians in the world and apart from the ones on freighters sunk during WW2 it probably is but good luck seeing them.

any questions feel free to ask.

you can get pretty close by train on both sides of the river. can probably get closer by bus. you won't be disappointed. In my biased opinion it is #2 museum in the US, not sure about out of the US. Motorcyclepedia actually has more "antiques" (really old stuff) than Barber (on display) but, Barber has a Britten.

Enough said end of conversation.

This years 2012 Cannonball run actually began at Motorcyclepedia.

just had to post 2 more of the more...distinguished pieces.
