A challenging year, but there's light at the end of the tunnel!
We are pleased to announce that at long last, the re-building of our workshop in Bishopbriggs is underway. It’s been a long slow haul, but we are assured that by the end of January, our new workshop will be complete. As far as we are concerned, a new workshop deserves an appropriate launch, so it is our intention to have a party to celebrate. We will issue an invitation to you and our other customers when we have fixed a date (probably early February).
We also have to announce that Mike Cameron has moved on from Motorrad Central West. Mike joined us at a most difficult time for the business and has seen through a measurable amount of the preparations for renovation of the building and played his part in maintaining limited levels of service during this challenging period.
We appointed a new Dealer Principal (Jon Clark - no relation to our competitors over the bridge) in our West Dealership on the 2nd December. Jon is an enthusiastic motorcyclist and has considerable experience in the motor industry. Formerly, Jon was Operations Manager at Henry Brothers BMW in Glasgow and is bringing with him a vast knowledge of BMW in both sales and aftersales sides of the business. We feel sure that you will join with us in welcoming Jon to the business, so do please call in for a coffee to introduce yourself – we feel sure that he will be appreciative of meeting you.
We would also like to announce the return of Lorna Mclardy to the Parts and Service desk at Bishopbriggs. Lorna spent approximately 18 months with us before she tried pastures new for a year. After falling in love with the bike world she found it too difficult to pass up the opportunity to return when the chance arose.
Damien Orr has recently been appointed as the Service Advisor for Bishopbriggs. With Damien, Lorna and Scott now all focused on returning the aftersales side of the business to where it belongs and where you rightfully expect it to be, we know you will congratulate the staff on their appointments.
