Motorrad Central-West

sign of the times - what a shitty time to get laid off mind you - hope wee scott gets fixed up with something and all the rest of the staff

I bought a brand new bike from Motorrad Central in April this year.

I went to the shop last week only to find it closed/deserted/gone!

Would have thought they could have mailed/emailed RECENT new bike customers to advise them of this turn of events?

Cracking customer service right there. Fail.

They did e-mail and contact customers. Perhpas you hadn't left an e-mail address. This board also circulated the news before the place closed at the start of Nov. Try & keep up ;)

They have my home address; email address and phone number. They didn't contact me on any of them. Fail!

Nope, I too got feck all from them (having been a "valued customer" since 2005, they had all my contact details too) and only found out through this forum right at the last minute. Nevertheless as I was looking to try a new adventure for size to replace my written off bike I phoned and organised to visit the shop on the last Saturday they were open to try a GSA for size etc and guess what was missing from their showroom floor when I got to the shop that Saturday morning as arranged...........:blast

Easy to knock them but they seem to be trying to do their best during extremely difficult times. Maybe trying to be a little more forgiving is the answer. I also see that Mr Dalziel is no longer with them, sad to see him go.

I don't really know why Alan has gone, I think he is pursuing other ventures with Alder etc.

deserting a sinking ship most likely, heard a wee rumour that a large motor group may well be in line for taking over motorrad  certainly hope that happens, its been a dogs dinner since john dillon gave it up

I'm not so sure.

Motorrad Central East needed the shake up with a change of ownership. The 'mechanic' Simon needed to move on. He was crap.

If I had known what he was going to do in his attempts to fit some accessories I would have bought a Harley for the reliability instead.

The thing was back and forth for intercom, Zumo and other faults. I have only now discovered his cock ups with my headlights.

They had the bike more than I did in the first three months. Not sad the see him go....
