took my bike in for a bmw 6000 mile service with bmw annual inspection - total cost £175.48 which included a loan bike - coffee and the bike hosed down upon collection - well pleased and thanks to everyone at motorrad central glasgow

Motorrad Central West - A mixed Impression So Far

I just picked up a brand spankers System 5 from Motorrad Central for £160 quid and all I did was wince when I was told it would cost over £50 for 2 cheek pads for my old System 5 - I didn't even have to haggle

Out for a ride on Saturday and got the inevitable fuel gauge/range reading zero with half a tank!!! Also have brake fluid leaking on rear brake making it inoperative - phoned them today and have to wait 2 weeks, even though it is under warrantee and the brake is a safety issue - I'm sure either Bahnstormer or CWs would have asked me to bring it straight in - guess I'll just have to get used to a new dealer.

New rear tourance £143 fitted from M'Central, £105 fitted from Strathern Tyres - guess I know where I'll be heading for that.

If it's in warranty and your bike is unusable shouldn't you get a courtesy car/bike with BMW Assist?.....or don't they do that anymore?
