i was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a motorrad museum. id like to go to Germany to visit one but on furher research, BMW Welt seems to just display the current line up. is there anywhere I can visit all the old GS bikes. For example where is Helge Pedersens bike kept? also Rahiers Dakar bike. any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Dan

The BMW Museum in Munich is far more than new models (that is across the road at BMW World). Highly recommended.

The Technik Museums at Sinsheim & Speyer have good collections of motorbikes amonhgst their various exhibits. Speyer mostly the Munch brand whilst Sinsheim has a wider mix including a few 1920's BMWs. Spent a day at each museum as they have fantastic ecletic collections of all kinds of boys toys.

The motorcycle museum at the Hockenheim Ring near Speyer is also worth a couple of hours. Mostly old ex-race stuff (pre and post war) but also quite a few makes you don't see often in the UK.
