Decided to do a software update yeaterday on the Sat Nav, all went well and did not take too long!
When I restarted it my location cursor was flashing above the good old USofA and taking ages to find satellites, not great when I am standing in the garden in France!!!!
Eventually it located the sats and got me in the right place BUT on checking, my favourites, routes, POI's etc they had all been deleted
I had a look through some of the notes and I was unable to see any mention that it would wipe all your data off the bloody thing!! I was under the impression is was only going to update the software!
Do I need to 'back-it-up' in future??
