I'm going to put the Motoswitch units on hold for a couple of weeks. I've been let down by suppliers of some of the key components and they are now quoting 28 days for delivery of the components. I keep enough components to to get me by for a couple of weeks so I'm now scuppered.

I'll post again when the parts arrive.

Any in Stock Rob? Let me know and a set of Hella Driving lamps pls.

Cheers, Nick

Anti Theft Device??

Rob,
is there a possibility that this unit could be connected in a certain way so that, once the ignition key is inserted and turned on, you would then need to press and hold the indicator cancel switch to allow power to the starter motor.
Hence possible anti theft devise.
Or am i talking pure B*****s???????

Regards

Geordie

If it wasn't for the load dropping relay (that turns off all lights and other feeds including spot lights etc) when you press the starter button, this would be quite simple to wire up.......you'd have to wire it though so that the feed from the autoswitch wasn't dropped out by pressing the starter......or it'd disable itself if you see what I mean.

Still should be possible though, but way beyond my knowledge to describe where to actually wire it to.

Hi Rob I am interested as well and did you get your web site up and running.
Hi Andy White me too an Andy White and both on GS's small world really.

Sorry Guys,

I haven't made the Motoswitch for over 18 months. I've no plans to make any more.

:beerjug:

Nippy Norman now stocks an Autoswitch that does exactly the same job now.

Click on the link on the top of the page, if its just to control one set of lights, then the one you require is the 5NB model, if that helps?

And if you have a 1200 you can use the autoswitch 5P to the high beam with a positive pulse or something like that

RE: ROB's RELAYS

There are three different models:

Motoswitch 1 @ £19 inc P&P - Unit with no visual indication of the units state.

Motoswitch 2 @ £21 inc P&P - Unit with LED indication for On/Off (your choice of LED colour)

MotoSwitch 3 @ £22 inc P&P - Unit with Two colour LED; One colour for on and 2nd colour for off (No LED is on when power not present at unit)

Please note custom delay times can configured to suit your needs but units will take 2 or 3 days extra.

HI ROB

i would like to purcahse the £22 model, how would i go about paying for the model would it be by paypal?
does the unit come with all the relays or do you have to provide one yourself or use the one currentley on the bike. do you have any idea on how long it will take to get here?

thanks

EZZ

Sorry Ezz, I stopped making them a while back. posting the old link has confused things a bit.
