MOUNT FOR ADV SCREEN.

I have just fitted the adventurer screen to my standard GS and as such my current Motorad concepts mount will no longer fit as the bar that runs across the midddle and supports the screen gets in the way. Can anyone recomend a good mount for this screen, I have the craddle it fits in i just want something to attatch it to the bike with.

The only one I know is the Touratech mount that fits on the screen top brace.

I bought one and used it for one trip - then took it off. The satnav vibrated so badly it was almost impossible to use.

I now use a RAM mount on the left hand bar. Not so smart but the most practical mount I have tried and now in use for about nine months with no complaints. The satnav is rock solid, easy to see (sits just to the left of the clocks so is pretty well in line of sight), I can reach the screen and buttons without reaching and its easy to fit and remove.

When I don't want the satnav, one quick turn of the wing nut removes everything except the ball bar fitting. Final good news - its dead cheap.

I have the same problem with the mount behind the speedo, that no fouls the adventure screen. The only solution is tobinators to adjust the screen up, or I guess I could place the mount over the speedo but I don't think the boys in blue would like that.
