Managed to drop my Falcone onto my leg and now have massive bruising and a largish cut on my inner thigh. Rather painful. Love it when a Spaniel drops one of his toys in the garage! Couldn't quite reach his arse with the toe of my boot!
Anyway I have an R80GS which I've fitted with a Migsel side stand. I know it's not best practice but I'm wondering if I can get my leg over (ooh er missus!) with the bike as upright as is safe on the side stand? It looks mighty strong. I'm a healthy GS 17 stone.
Cheers m'dears.

Robin,

Sorry to hear about your accident, I hope you'll be fully recovered in time for the "Summer Run" on 25th June :augie.

I'm not sure about the side stand; I guess it really depends on the angle of lean on the bike. I would go canny, we don't want any more tumbles.

17 stone  - You're a walking (!) advert for those excellent bacon butties your wife makes :thumb.

Get well soon.

Bob.

I think you are saying that yuo might adjust length of migsel stand leg ( as they can be adjusted) to maximum so no great pushing required to get upright. Should work ok if you don't park it where wind might push it over.
