I got a ram mount for the I phone but I can't see whare to put it its called a mirror mount with a ball on one end and a hole on the other end of a short bar I can't see howi can get it mounted anywhare on the bars. Help what am I dooing wrong or have I got the wrong part? Thanks JJH

Hiya, does this help

With Ram mounts you can have hundreds of variations of fixing. If that's not the one, have a peek through their catalogue for installed pics

They show 2 types 1 that seems to mount on the brake/clutch fluid resivior and the one I have which is a ball on a bar with a hole on it which seems to go on a mirror stem which I don't have also the angle seems wrong. I thought I would be getting a threaded bar Roth a ball on it to go whare the mirror arm would go. JJH

Please be exact .. R1200RT to 2009 series or is it later, R1200RT 2010 model onwards as they differ.

Earlier model had cast fluid reservoir covers so RAM-B-345 or RAM-B-346 ... or onto handlebars with RAM-B-367.

AFAIK, later model so from 2010 onward had round plastic fluid reservoirs so only option was handlebar with RAM-B-367 and superceds earlier method of RAM-B-252 (as suggested by oldrat) with pillar and cap socket screw (as sold via TT) .

RAM-B-252 has been fitted into used threaded mirror stem holes, then again, RAM-B-360 is an option and has M8 screw. I may need reminding as to thread size on unused mirror stem hole :rob
