I am taking delivery of a new 1200gs tomorrow (yippee)( should never have sold my 1150) any one got any suggestions on mounts for s Garmin Street Pilot III. I would prefer if i could mount it over the clocks but i welcome any suggestions.Had touratech mount on 1150 but sold bike with the mount and gps unit. Thanks in advance.

Does MIGSEL not do a mounting point for the dash of a R1200gs then attach unit using ram mount???
i saw one on this site fitted to the speedo clock of a 1000. do you have a link or web address for migsel? many thanks

I use a Mottorad Concepts mount for the NavII (it fits the Gamin range as well) and it's an excellent product.

RAM Mount .. RAM-B-149Z-G1 is a kit and attaches onto the handlebars plus add RAP-319 for oval rail above the clocks. The mount had std 3" arm, so to custom make a short arm its parts, RAM-B-231 or 231Z plus RAM-B-201-A and RAM-B-202-G1 .. ditto RAP-319 for oval rail etc. The RAM round base attaches to the cradle (remove from beanbag mount) and before the moans about the ratchet base, undo the zinc screw and slide the ratchet bracket thru so you get better angle adjustment when fitted.
