mozza tool tube fitting location???

hi,

I been having a look at finally fitting the tool tube but ran into a prob....
the tube fits fine on the RH side in the same sort of area as the vario pannier bracket BUT there is little clearance between the tube and the wheel - if going over some dips/bumps then i can see the tyre hitting the tube.


Where have you mounted your tube?????? photos would be appreciated

I'm struggling to find a location on a 1200 that doesn't interfere with my Vario panniers, I was thinking of just in front of the rear light, but the tube is too long.

Looking at possibly shortening the tube a bit. but need to do so and keep it watertight.

i was thinking of behind the number plate bracket? just a random thought but ill have to try it there first.

u could put it on the RH side sticking out at 90 degrees... but then of course u couldnt use the panniers and it would look very obvious so some gypo will have it away in 5 mins.
