Ive noticed that different mp3's have different volume levels when played back, older recordings are always lower ,its rather anoying on the bike with the mp3 player going blating down the m-way to be suddenly deafened.

Is there any way I can rework them so there all at the same level ?

yep - whatever u use to transfer them withsould have a volume equaliser - makes 'em all the same volume :thumb

Hi stef,

I had the same trouble. I now use ITunes as a sort of pc jukebox. As I add new stuff ( just drag and drop ) before loading to my mp3 player I always "Edit - select all " which highlights everything loaded.
Right click and go to get info, where there will be a volume slider . Max it and all will be well.

Most manufactures set the volume at a sensible ?? level to save future deafness littigation.

Itunes is free by the way, Google it,

Hope this may be a help,

Cheers,

H6

already got Itunes (daughter uses it for her IPod) worked out the select volume thingy but cant see an option to download it to an mp3 player. Does have an option to burn to disc might have to go down that route.
