Anyone know the expected MPG for a twin spark 650gs, Woman rider not the fast type

Many thanks Wayne

mines does about 180-190 before the fuel light comes on which is about 12-14 litres approx. So thats roughly 65-70mpg (thats on a twin spark)

I've had mine a bit over a week and the MPG is truly excellent. I'm getting a good 70mpg. :)

01 singles spark with fat throttle happy tosser on board...............................about 170-180 to fuel light :thumb

Less if I act like a tw*t and rev it up at lights and bounce up and down like I'm somewhat derranged :augie

My twin spark has always done between 82 and 87mpg, I only acellerate hard when needed and run in top gear as much as possible, but it does get quite a bit of 80mph running and always has panniers on. What it does not get is short runs, not less than 100miles and mostly 2/300 at a time. 265miles on a tank is the record so far and it still had 1 1/2litres left. Sue

40 mile commute, mainly motorway, but that's got at least 5 miles of slow moving traffic and the rest is trying to cruise at an indicated 75 mph = 5000 rpm, and I'm getting 14.5 miles per litre which is about 180 miles to the light or about 66 mpg :)

As part of my extensive research, I ran my Twin Spark dry last year: :augie

265 miles & took 17.31 liters to fill.
