Just been given a tinted adjustable MRA screen for my 1150. beerjug:

Anyone have experience of these, good or bad, that they want to share?

I've just fitted a GSA screen to my 1150 & am a little disappointed with it, the buffeting is worse . I had hoped that the extra width & height would mean the opposite. If I dip my head slightly, the buffeting disappears but I can't ride like that, too uncomfortable. Pity that BMW didn't make the GSA screen adjustable like the regular 1150 part.

Don't tell me to buy Tobinators, I'm too poor:eek:

IMHO, the best screen available for the 1150. OK, it's not really bigger than stock, but the design virtually eliminates the buffeting.

I've now fitted Tobinators as well, and it's even better.

Thanks, I'll try it this weekend. I've Googled & seen that a new MRA Vario is £106.00 plus p&p :beerjug: My lucky day, it's even in good condition with all the BMW fittings as well.

I'll second that! I fitted a MRA Vario on mine about a month ago, and it is the business! :beerjug:

MRA works well. You'll notice an improvement right away - if you go on & fit Tobinators, it'll get better, but not the radical difference that those with standard screens report.

MRA + Tobinators = best solution available, IMO...

Mike:)
