Hi,

Has anyone put the MRA X-creen universal spoiler on their standard GS screen?

Having only had the bike for a few week I find the screen totally fine for my protection requirements, in fact having come from a Speed Triple a little too good! When the temp was above 17c I was roasting and only getting air though my top helmet vent even with the screen set at it's lowest!

So what I am interested in does it actually fit and work as intended and what is the ability of the spoiler to deflect air onto my body and lower helmet vent like.

I know they do an actual whole screen but I like the look of the OEM one and would like to keep it if possible but I suppose the question would apply to that screen as well.

Thanks

lol you were roasting at 17c??? I would be freezing riding at 17c and I was riding in 40c in our last summer. I have the MRA Vario screen and get good enough ventilation on the top of my helmet

I have a Arai Defiant (Rebel in the UK) and it vents very well

I recently fitted an X-Screen Sport (the smaller one) to a GSA screen using the clamps. Works really well at higher speeds, although only after I made a gap between it and the screen (I tried to have it touching and there was a lot of buffeting around the sides). There is still a bit of wind around the sides/shoulder area, but I really didn't fancy the larger touring version.
