going to get a pair fitted to the DRZ tomorrow...anyone else tried them yet?

I have them on my DR650 and the spare wheels of my Rallye bike, they're a superb allround tyre but not so good in mud. I used them this time last year on the DR in Morocco and they were perfect.

For the difficult rides we're doing in Wales these days we've decided that no one comes with MT21s, so it really depends on what conditions your planning to use them in.
If your DRZ is a pure offroad bike then look elsewhere such as AC10s:thumb

most of the lanes i ride are hardpacked and stoney (hence my DRZ always looks clean) and they have killed my Scorpion Pro's from what ive read the MT21's will be better suited

cheers for the info Tim
im going to give them a go

Good.. but not for use in mud..

I fitted apair following Timolgra advice.. :blast :D..

Actually very good tyres, for gravel and hard-packed tracks/roads, but they do ball up a treat as soon as it gets muddy. So if you dont spend a lot of time in the mud then your fine.

But the lastest set of rides up this way in north wales have proved to be at the limit of the tyres. The last ride involve the rear end of the bike spinning constantly on many of the trails and having to sit practically on the tank fill point to keep the front end gripping.

Since then lots of rain, so now my drz is sitting the winter out, with only occasional road trips, till the weather improves and right arm is once more 100%.

So great tyre, pretty good on the road, but avoid the sloppy/sticky stuff..

While they are not great in the mud... presumably they are a whole better than TKCs/Karoos... right?

all done :) fitted and ready to rock over the weekend :)

will be better than TKC in the mud anyway!!!! just look at them, bigger gaps between the tread than TKC's ..although like i said my trails are mostly hard and stoney with tarmac inbetween trails so these should be ideal

kinda half way between my enduro tyres and TKC's imho

will ride them over the weekend, looking forward to it

£91 fitted thanks to micheldever tyres :thumb2
