Hi, guys, those needing to limber up, meeting at the Captains Wednesday 9 to 9.30 for tea and last minute checks. :thumb

The ground is nicely sodden and full of puddles (poggos only) and being mid week the trails relatively clear of Ramblers / twitchers.

Riders include most of the motley crew so any others needing a workout, :bounce1 please get in touch.

Regards Richard

Team Flatlanders

No probs we'll meet at mine, although the guys were sort of getting used to your tart  (Earl Grey) tea.

Oh yes, look at the mess you got in last time!!! I did send Ray a pm did he contact you ?:comfort

Hi Pete,

Yes, Ray and Mike are comming. With the Captain not being allowed a few hours off and with you being a rubbiish sweeper, you and Darryl can take point.

He is doing the National in the forest this week end and being one of the SETH crew (Strip Engine Twenty Hourly) it's running like a dog:toungincheek

Luckily we are part of the IR - LIA school.;)

See you at at mine 9ish.

Richard

Respect to all you mud slingers 'twas WET, MUDDY and FUN. :bounce1

The icing on the cake was a new 'legal' woodland track / pit and a tree slalom along the Peddars way.

The Diss club is running the British National in Thetford Forest this week end, a golden opportunity to see various champs from all over the world (and Darryl) ride.:bow

We will organise another run next month,

Regards Richard

Yerr Pete, I too noticed Darryl was riding well within his capabilities yesterday, he said he didn't want to risk a fall and damaging his shoulder or whatever.

Anyway Darryl is riding on Sunday as No. 127, starting time 9.31am and will apparently be doing about 100 miles - 4 laps of 20+ miles each. Should be fun and if the weather's not too bad I shall try and get up to Thetford Forest to take some pictures.

Based on yesterday I think I'd better take him a few extra litres of petrol too!:comfort
Anyway if you see this Darryl, good luck in the Enduro mate!!:thumb
Cheers
Ray

Just a quick update for those who did'nt make the Thetford Forest, Darryl managed a commendable 3 laps.:bow

Next month there is a club enduro around the 8th and if you are up for it, please get in touch with Halfpint for details.

Regards Richard:)

:agree

And I promised not to post the second picture :green gri

Darryl's Address

Hi
I've got some good shots of Darryl at the Enduro and would like to send him some prints.
Does anyone know his postal address which maybe you can give me by PM?
Cheers
Ray
PS
It was good to see some/most of Team Flatlanders at the event - Scottie, Noddy, John, Darryl et moi, also honorary members Simon Pavey, David Knight etc were in attendance.

Hiya all, Darrell has asked me to convey his thanks to one and all who turned up and gave him support ( why he needs 12 jock straps is beyond me to be honest )
He would do it himself but today EVERYTHING aches !!

Ray, could send the pics here to my addy mate :thumb2
I think he is more excited about pics taken than he was about the event !
