Watched him tonight on telly in Ennis. A boxing legend and great to see him here in Ireland but I felt sad seeing a man, whom I watched many times at his peak, so affected by that horrible Parkinson's Disease.

He appears to have got a great welcome :aidan

Float like a butterfly..........

Sting like a bee.

I remember watching Henry Cooper knock him to the ground only to be beaten

of the title by the bell.

Heard 'Enry on radio last week and he told how once he was meeting MA and when MA went to the toilet, HC asked MA's doctor if boxing had lead to MA's Parkinsons. HC found this hard to figure because no one ever really hit MA on the head, he was too quick. Anyhow, the doc said it was probably from getting pounded on the back of neck which is where he took shots at his head.
Very sad, a great man!
