From another place: an album of 320 photos https://www.flickr.com/photos/kinsarvik/albums/72177720330673607/
"I have attached a link to a big Flickr Album that holds my photos from a visit to the Luciano Battisti Museum in Pesaro, Italy. Luciano Battisti (1944-2023) was a Pesaro industrialist and motorcycle enthusiast. He competed with the Pesaro based Benelli and MotoBi brands and amassed an impressive collection of over 200 road and racing motorcycles. Sadly, he passed away before the museum was completed but his widow, Graziella and his nephew Enrico, saw it through to completion.
The museum is beautifully laid out, with each bike on a personalised "paddock mat", which makes having a good look and getting photos very easy. In 2024, the museum opened to the public, but it is only open on the first Saturday of each month.
I am very grateful to Enrico as I was fortunate enough to be granted special access, accompanied by Raoul, the resident Museum Engineer, who also showed me his incredible workshop."
