music conversion to mp3 for zumo

hi can anyone recomment a real cheap conversion method for music from itunes or wma version,

i have tried the one recommended from the zumo instuction book, and its been playing havoc with the laptop,

it can be done with itunes and the method has been described on this site in the past. have a hunt around.

edit: not from wma as itunes doesn't accept that format, but from AAC.
