I've put up some articles on mounting Satellite Radio on my GS along with some other stuff - I'm not sure if you have the same kit there but it might give you some ideas.

I had a cassette on my R1150RT, I could hear it up to about 90mph but it was the BIGGEST waste of money I can remember making on a bike, leave the music to the cage drivers is my advice
