DAB with over 10 hours battery life and a 12v amp.

cable exits by seat plugged into big speakers in helmet (same size as base monsters). Never had it full blast hurts my ears, hear music at 120mph.

If I want MP3 I plug Zumo (on bars) into amp

It has to rain very hard before it gets wet then radio is velcroed to mounting so I put it in my pocket, amp is waterproof.

They are called Dyna pro and were in the head set I had for a Goldwing, they are the same size as base monsters but slightly better sound, however I used Base Monsters for a while and they were great, Both fiit straight into the ear pockets on a system 5 helmet. I had to mod the padding on my Shoei.

Ive used standard audio cables over making my own as they are waterproof, heavier duty, you can buy them anywhere, thet last longer and I got fed up of making new cables all the time, Had to put a 3.5 female on the speakers to allow this.

I would love to get DAB radio on the bike but I thought the ear pieces supplied with them made up the ariel/antenna.

Do you still get a decent signal?

I would want to run it through my autocom, anyone use dab in London with autocom with decent results?

I only have to move my dab radio a few inches at home and it disrupts the signal hence the reason I'm reluctant to buy a portable version as constant interference would drive me mad.

Well the wire that connects the DAB to the amp acts as the aerial now, a friend of mine uses this make of DAB in central london with no probs.

Alot of the DABs like this one are of a similar layout Buttons screen size ect are very similar when you look inside the case the battery type and life are the main difference. I would not recomend a none rechargable battery as you will use lots of batteries this one is the best life of the ones I have come across.
