For some unknown way, I seem to have muted my front and rear speakers even though radio or CD working. I had installed the Hogtunes Ultra sound system and it was working fine until one day.
The LCD screen on radio does show up an icon for headphones on the lower right side and because of this, I think I have accidentally muted it and it is not a problem with equipment (fuses OK).

How can I restore speaker sound through the handlebar control buttons?

Thanks

Sounds like it might be the 'auto social conscience' feature that has kicked in. Were you playing anything by REO Speedwagon when this occurred?

I'm the same... But 1996.. And I have a cassette player..

MY stereo system on my 97 Electraglide Ultrabollox thingy works a treat on the front speakers, the rear ones have never worked and I have never given a fuck....Just a shame the engine won`t work any longer:D
Electrics, I fucking hate all that hocus pocus shite, no fucking need for it really.:rob:rob

But... I have been reading about the impact of plugging an iPod in, and it messing up the mute.. You need to replug the iPod and set the volume then unplug it.. Assuming the volume is not set at zero..:augie

OK, Thanks all.
Toggled the rocker switch and still no sound even though 'headphone icon' disappeared. I will have to delve into the independent fuses and wiring connections of the Hogtunes Ultra sound system.
