Not really, more about people reading half a thread and then passing comment.
The end result is total confusion, terminating in the now mandoraty mild chest beating.
Personally I hate riding in moto-x boots on the road, even for a short amount of time. I have tried the NN pegs and also the TT ones and I still prefer the std ones.
FFS sake you are not standing up constantly for hours on end. Plus you should be moving your weight around on the bike to help you steer.
But then again its a bit like having TKCs fitted and only going off road once or twice every six months?
Image, as they say is everything.![]()
well I am no expert but I am trying to learn, I found that the footpegs did help.
as for riding off road, when the weather was better we were out probably 3 weekends out of 5 and that will continue
I don't like riding on the road with moto x boots on and I don't unless I'm going off road and not wishing to damage my ankle again I then wear moto x boots.
seems to make sense to me
as for tkcs, when I went to scotland on the weekend I used bt020s and then swapped back, but most of the time the bike is used for off road and so tkcs stay on
who's chest beating ?
I was interested in mutters pegs
fred was just taking the piss a bit
I did 13000 miles on my bike last year and a fair bit of off road
maybe you should do a bit less moderating and a lot more riding before passing comment on those of us who ARE doing it
ooh do I sound a bit miffed or is it a wind up
make your own mind up
I'm off to work
