Just done Blackpool to John O groats & Back, 16hrs in the saddle, (Standard seat on GS1200ADV) any one know just how long it will be before I get the feeling back in by butt cheeks, feels like i've just come out of the dentist, got that tingly, anaesthetic wearing off feeling.
Fitted sheep skins before we left, but looks like new seat time.
The bike ran, handled & performed absolutely faultlessly. Comp says 44mpg & 61mph av speed.
Butt my arse died somewhere on the trip.

The guy I bought them off, thought they were a bit grubby so he put them into a metal polishers and had them buffed up, should have seen them when i collected them, (good job it was dark).
