My ride out today ...Kirkstone Pass and Shap.

Set off on my tod today to ride up to the lakes,over Kirkstone Pass and back down over Shap....

Perfect GS country!.............

Outside the Kirkstone Pass Inn (lunch stop)

You should try it in Monsoon weather on a bicycle with fully laden panniers!!:mad:

Still, looks a nice ride out!!!

Last time I was up that way I was on my GPZ900R with a mate on an old z1000ST shaftie. We also did the Wrynose-Hardnott pass - cracking good fun on any bike.
 
it can't be the lake district? no nutters in kagouls, nor caravans! there were a few weekend gipsies on the A82 earlier today when i was out.... most excellent piccies though....
 
Up there ourselves in 3 weeks time for a long w/end, at least four of us on GS,s. Last did it on my K1100lt and enjoyed it so i'm going to love it on my GS.
