I'm prepping an X-country for a long trip. It's 07 in black and so far has seen a lot of work and a lot of cash sunk into it but she's coming together now and starting to look the part. So far she's had new steel sprockets and X-ring heavy duty chain, wilbers rear shock, touratech tail rack slightly modified, custom dash with 12v socket (not yet wired in) high level mudguard, spotlights (hid, not wired yet), headlight uprated and fitted with stone guard (custom made),, custom rad guard extended side panel, handguards, GPR exhaust, GPS, Dirtbagz frames and luggage, all stainless allen bolts fitted and temperature guage. I cant remember what else but there is loads. This week screen, extra fuel tank and tool-tube is getting fitted and i'm waiting for sump-guard and other bits.

Went out today. New TKC80s are brilliant in the mud and the rear shock has made the bike handle a million times better. We couldn't quite keep up with the KTMs but they are ultra lightweight and we were 2 up in the mud so I reckon that's still a win for the BMW.
