Had my pre test yesterday and the instructor was riding a F800 GS with panniers.

I have to say it looked and sounded really well. Had a look at one that was in Joe Duffy's today to. Very nice but so to where the two R1200 GSA's they have. Especially the with and red 07 reg one.

Come on the lotto numbers. :D

I'd go for the 800.
Enough power for most situations, less weight & bulk.
If I was buying, that's the one I would spend my money on.

Piece of advice from the horses mouth..
Safe, under control and in full compliance with the rules of the road. What trips a lot of people up is that they do not know the rules of the road. If you have any doubts about them just call Peter.

good luck:aidan

Ain't that the truth :rob
"Overtaking lane" or mobile phone use while driving, anyone ?:anger

I was thinking more along the lines of ......
correct position turning right
correct position turning right at traffic lights
meaning of Amber light
meaning of flashing Amber light
position at roundabouts
signalling at roundabouts
etc

I could go on.....:eek::eek:
