Been using MyRoute app for a few years now and get on with it really well, main problem is Goldwing infotainment system is crap, used to have the phone with a wired usb connection but it kept dropping out so now I have a Bluetooth dongle fitted to the bike which works really well, but drops connection when you go past some speed cameras and by railway crossings and other electrical installations must be electronic interference any techno's out there who can help.
Thanks in advance.

A wired connection should be pretty reliable, better if anything than a Bluetooth connection.

I’d try a new decent quality lead.

You are probably right but I have spent nearly £80 on Genuine phone USB leads and various other quality usb leads and still get the drop out problem on two different phones Goldwing infotainment system is known to be bad.
Thanks for moving my post.

It may be worth you logging a support ticket with MRA.

I’ve seen a few mentions of this on their forum over the last few days. All the people reporting it insist that MRA is the only app doing this, and that all their other apps don’t cause the disconnection.

The more reports and logs they have, the more likely they are to be able to fix it.

Fair enough and welcome.

I think you have answered your own question - if you have tried various cables and ‘phones then it is the Goldwing system
