N.Spain/pyrennes recomendations pls

Hiya Dinger:

North spain start in Galician (west) and finish in in Pyrennes(east), all this huge area is called Spain green. There are plenty mountains to visit, If you start in Galician the most important and nice mountains are "Los Ancares" and near there "O caurel". Between Asturias and Cantabria you must visit "picos de europa" and the pyrenees is very long to explain, but must visit "Parque nacional de Ordesa" This link you can see about Ordesa national park:_Click on the left side of this page, in the Map if you can see the situation of this area. Rutas routes in English you will see places you will find there. Photo galery a lot of pictures about .

If you wish more information ask me...maybe i can find anything else about Galician ,,Asturias-Cantabria... Tarra for now..Gus

Spooky this thread as I was recommended the N260 by the guy who MOT'd my bike yesterday. He did it on a K BMW - Took him two days from the French border to Andorra. I do not think he hung around either. He said that some of the roads had gates on them so may be shut due to winter snow soon.
Spent part of my train journey this am planning the route (with Michelin Maps) through France and onwards through Spain after the N260. I reckon on returning via Santander to Plymouth as there is a brilliant road through some gorges on the way back from Salamancar. :thumb
