Nav 111 alternate bike power and touratech mount

Basically the fuse in the power connector keeps blowing, so either a fault in power lead or cradle, so I am either
on the lookout for replacement same parts
or
I use a 2610 power lead and say a touratech mount

so my question is will the latter work?
