Rattles seem to be a flavour topic of the forum.
I've posted on the main engine rattle thread regarding cheap fuel.
But Ive long had a plasticky rattle coming from the cockpit area under acceleration.
I've narrowed it down to the Sat Nav mount.
Its coming from the release catch on the rear and to the left of the mount.
A couple of small screws and the catch can be removed.
Application of some strips of electrical insulating tape to the interference surfaces where the catch slides and all is now good.
Allows me to focus more on the engine rattle
