I read your post about Mac OSX, Virtous PC 6, USB and the 2610.
I'm just about to go the same way with a Navigator II(USB) using VPC6 on a G4 Powerbook and OSX 10.3.6.
Would it be possible to find out how you did this hook-up as the various Garmin/Mac forums seem littered with horror stories.

Hi Carl,

I have an iMac G4 running OS 10.3.X with Virtual PC 6 and on that I have Windows 2000. You need to install the drivers for the device onto Windows and then the navigation software. That's it really, when I plug my 2610 in to the iMac (via USB), Windows detects it and I can download to it from the navigation software.

Let me know how you get on or if you have any specific queries.

Jon

That seems pretty straightforward.
I'm out in the middle east at the moment, back hopefully for the new year. I'll let you know how it goes with the Mac in 2005.
