Here's an attempt at translating what Babelfish threw up.....
Since March 2002, BMW have offered the BMW Motorcycle Navigator as a navigation aid to the motorcyclist. Now its successor has arrived - the BMW Motorcycle Navigator II, which has also been developed in co-operation with the US firm Garmin. At the Bologna Motor Show, the equipment was unveiled for the first time, priced at €1980. It will be available from Spring 2004 for the following models: K1200GT. R1200CL and all models of the R1150, from all BMW dealers.
A faster processor (RISK) and USB connection allows faster and easier communication between the unit and a PC. The Navigator II also has more storage capacity. The Navigator could accept 128Mb, whereas the Navigator II can accept 512Mb – allowing the storage of, for example, the entire map of Germany as well as some surrounding countries. As well as the well known facilities of its predecessor, the Navigator II also has a touchscreen, which facilitates its use. There is a menu in 14 languages. Touch the required symbol lightly on the anti-reflective screen, for example ‘Food & Drink’ and you are shown a further choice, so you may choose to select ‘Italian’. When one selects ‘Map Attitude’ the equipment rapidly responds. The Advanced Mount Cradle was developed especially for motorcycle use of the Navigator II. It is positioned to the left of the unit and features four buttons, marked ‘IN’, ‘OUT’, ‘ENTER’ and ‘ESC’ which are easily operated with a gloved hand. An audio connection is provided to allow turn by turn audible navigation advice to be given to the rider, in any one of nine languages. The Navigator II and the Advanced Mount Cradle are fuel and splash proof. Unlike the Navigator, the Navigator II has its antenna located internally. It is supplied with a base map for Europe or the USA as well as the unlock codes to access the most current version of MapSource data. On the BMW motorcycle homepage
