Need a back rest, maybe.

Hi All.

I was wondering if anyone had seen a rider back rest for a 2011 R1200 GSA that will go on the standard seats somehow, don't want the Sargeant seats one. I was hoping for one that could go under or instead of the pillion seat maybe, Google hasn't revealed anything so far. I have a dodgy back which is making it increasingly hard to ride the GSA for extended periods.

Maybe contact cymark and see if they can make an L shaped plate that uses rear seat mounts then get it upholstered?

That is a good idea, I could just get a cheap office seat and pinch the back rest.

Exactly. Wrong year, unfortunately.

Would make it a bit awkward getting on and off the bike not to mention what would happen if you were shunted from behind while you were stationary.
