I've just bought 1 used micro de xenon driving light that came with mounting bracket, ballast, bit of wiring (light to ballast & blue/brown wiring from ballast). I don't have much electrical experience but want to fit this all myself so if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated.

I've had a look through the forums already for tips and have found out a little but most installations are for 2 lights & autoswitch type installs.

I'm looking to use a piaa switch instead - http://www.nippynormans.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PIA-74034&variation=&aitem=1&mitem=6

Now what kind of relay do I need - I'm assuming 30amp, 4 or 5 poles? Any of these any good?

Heres a wiring diagram i made (probably wrong), can anyone tell me the correct way?

Any of those relays will do it, 4 or 5 pin. Stick to one of the top three types on the left of your first link. If you get a 5 pin one just leave terminal 87a empty.

You weren't far off with the diagram, just the wire from the battery to the PIA switch should have been pos not neg. Hope this helps out :aidan
