need help with bike comms!!

Try a Starcom Digital system. I use one connected to a Zumo satnav

Me too. Excellent system. Smaller than autocom so easier to fit under seat.Had interphone. Good for year then problems with connectors which resulted in loss of sound to one ear and difficulty in charging.Same prob with free replacement(even though 2 years old) so customer service good but product suspect.

When at Starcom's warehouse got talking. Apparently they took their Starcom unit to Autocom and were shown the door. A few years later bought Autocom from receiver. Payback!

All good info guys, I'll take it all into consideration, working overseas at the minute and won't be home for another month so it gives me time to do some homework. Defo gonna speak to chainspeed and see what they say n also my BMW dealer, see what happens, definitely going down the wired route though. Depends what aftersales is gonna be like I guess!! Cheers guys

If you talk to a BMW dealer they will sell you an very expensive, latest generation bluetooth system which wont be as good as "old, wired systems". As for Starcom aftersales they are very good. I was given my Digital unit by a mate, but did not have any instructions or bits with it. I rang the Starcom people several times and have always had a positive response. All leading to a very good experience with the equipment.

More importantly, if i ever need another system i would not hesitate to buy another Starcom :thumb2
