Just got my first GS(adv) and want to get familiar with some of the legal off road trails in the peak district & Yorkshire area.

Usually get out on Sunday mornings so if if there are any like minded and knowledgable members out there please give me a shout.

Thanks

Hi Rob, if you can make the Saturday of the East Midlands doo next week that would be a good start.
Failing that, I`m back in the country week after next and happy to take you round.

Hi Rob
May be up for a play on Sunday. Just got the DR up and running and need to get on a few easy trails to shake it down and sort any problems.
Fancy meeting at the usual spot about 10am, earlier if you want breakfast first. The Yonder Man Cafe, Wardlow Mires on the A623 between Stoney Middleton and Tideswell.

No worries, lots of easy lanes close by, all suitable for GS's on any tyres:thumb

I might be up for that as well Gaz. I will keep an eye on this post for times dates ect.
cheers Steve.

if its this Sunday then I am up for a bit light easy stuff I will keep a look out for times etc I will riding down from Leeds

Hi Terry, 9.30 if you want breakfast first for a 10.00 off from the above mentioned cafe.
Beginer and easy lanes to start with and the option to try a few slightly harder ones later on if everyone is feeling up for it. As usual there will always be an easy or tarmac option available

Rob, don't worry that I'll be on the DR. I've done all the lanes round here on the GS and GSA as well so know which ones to pick for an easy route:thumb

Them, Terry came too:thumb

Kept it simple to start, Sir William Hill, Tideswell Lane, back round toward the Barrel and up the lane toward Great Hucklow, over toward Castleton and round the lane to top of Winnats, back round and over a little lane near Bradda, then Water Lane near Tideswell, then Millers Dale to Brushfield via Priestcliffe (Bulltor Lane?) and finally to Rowland and up over Hassop Pastures (where you had your first off road off if I remember correctly:D )

An easy intro that I think was enjoyed by all.

when you back? Got the bug again now so up for a days recce on your E Mids route if you fancy:thumb

I`m back Wednesday night to the uK then Heading upto the Mill Thursday morning. I will need to do a few hours recce Thursday afternoon/early evening if your around then perhaps a beverage at the Lion?
