After 13000 on the front and 7000 on the rear, I came home yesterday to find a nice slice on the sidewall of the rear. Probably Sherpas fault!

Anyhow the desision to replace both tyres at once has come earlerv thant anticipated.

Tourances have been great, and my initial thoughts are to have the same again. Any other sugestions.

I wait with baited breath.

My advice would be to stick with them. The only other tyre that might come close is the Michelin Anakee, but they're a bit more expensive.

new hoops!

Just replaced my tourances and fitted a pair of pirelli mt90 scorpions and Im impressed so far. I've been giving them hell to try and get them to break away but they're sticking fast!!

I havent had the opportunity to try them in the wet yet though! Doesn't seem to want to rain ere in sunny Coventry!

Got them

Thanks for the replies but two new Tourances fitted today.

Not the cheapest in the UK (see other thread) but at £155 for the pair all in balanced, valves etc they are still far better value than a single rear on the ZX9.

What are the stickiest tyres available for the GS?
I don't care how long they last I just want lots of grip.

Popular opinion seems to favour the Tourances for grip. Can't complain with mine - can drag the undercarriage almost anywhere in the dry left or right. Feel very sure-footed.
