Hi,
I loaded a game into my PC which failed to work so I un-installed it and all is happy with the world...except...when I now click on a website and it opens up on my screen it is small in size, they used to open in full screen as the PC remembered the setting to open internet sites in full screen. For the life of me I can't rememeber how I set it up to open webpages in full screen ( without having to continually click the top right to do so )
Anybody remind me how to set up to open web pages full size, please :thumb2

One option and this may be dependent on version of operating system but generally in windows if....

If you right click on the Icon for Internet Explorer (or any icon I think) .
Select Properties
change Run: to 'Maximized'
click Apply and Ok

It should now open maximized each time...

Thanks Taff..but if I right click ( say on Internet Explorer ) and select properties..I get the Internet Properties box with 7 tabs at the top..where do I go from here? :nenau

I'm on XP SP2 btw

Or double click on the bar at the top to maximise Internet Explorer, then close Internet Explorer and open it again. Hey Presto it's remembered the maximise setting. PB

I use Opera, so i type -fullscreen after the shortcut path properties of the icon and it opens fullscreen always.

I do this for my 3 YR OLD so he doesn't stray out of the window i leave him in.

it probably doesn't work in crappy old explorer tho' :augie
