TBH, although an admirer of the said Mr. Peart and his music and playing....I lost interest in the book about 3/4's of the way through. I appreciate that he wasn't in a good place emotionally at the time but it was almost like his writing was sucking the life out of the reader. So as his mind got better, mine was going downhill. Just my 2p :nenau:comfort

I read it on holiday a few years ago, my wife was delighted when I finished it.
To loose his daughter and his wife obviously devastated him and that comes across in the book, it`s dark in places.
