enabb.

Try this site.

http://www.homenethelp.com/

If all fails after going through the step by steps from site above.
you might need to envoke the 'NW Link IPX/SPX/NetBIOS protocol'
within network connections / properties / general / internet protocol - 'install'

its not that easy to set up, took me quite some time to link the computers. I am also using a D-Link router, but it is a cable type router.

Just another thought re-D-Link.

is it set for auto dhcp (auto assign IP) :thumb

Can both PC's access the web at the same time, if so then you are halfway there. Well a '1/4' as you know getting the LAN side working is not straight fwd.

You have got a file shared on both PC's?
Both are on the same WORKGROUP and given different names?

as said above check out that URL and get reading. Its a whole new world of NETWORKING :banghead:

What OS are you using on your iBook, both my G4 desktop and my powerbook can communicate with a Win 95 box using OS 10.3 over wired and wireless connections. Have you enabled file and printer sharing on both. On Mac OS X it's System Preferences/Sharing.
